Description

Transform your aquarium with the Albino Koi Guppy, a highly sought-after variety of Poecilia reticulata. Bred for its distinctive coloration, this guppy features a unique pearlescent white to pale yellow “albino” body, contrasted beautifully by a vibrant red-orange face, dorsal fin, and tail. It resembles the patterns of a Koi fish, making it a jewel in any planted or community tank.

Why Add Albino Koi Guppies to Your Tank? These fish are not just beautiful; they are incredibly hardy and adaptable, making them an excellent choice for both beginner and experienced hobbyists. They acclimatize quickly to closed water ecosystems and thrive in groups. Being peaceful top-dwellers, they add life and movement to the upper layers of your aquarium without disturbing bottom feeders.

Smart Ordering Logic (Get Pairs Easily): We have simplified the process of building a breeding colony. The price listed is for a single fish, but we curate the gender based on your quantity:

  • Buy 2: You receive 1 Male + 1 Female (Perfect Pair).

  • Buy 5: You receive 2 Males + 2 Females + 1 based on availability.

  • Note: Single orders are filled based on availability.

Care & Maintenance:

  • Hardiness: Very Hardy (Beginner Friendly)

  • Temperament: Peaceful / Community Safe

  • Diet: Omnivore. They love fish flakes, micro pellets, and freeze-dried bloodworms. A varied diet ensures their red coloration stays bright.

  • Water Conditions: Thrives in pH 7.0–8.0 and temperatures between 19°C–29°C.

  • Tank Size: Minimum 10 gallons recommended with a lid (as they can jump).

Breeding: These are prolific livebearers. If you purchase in pairs (Quantity 2+), you can expect fry relatively quickly. One female can produce 10–60 free-swimming fry at a time. To ensure fry survival, we recommend a planted tank or a separate breeding box.
